Itinerary
- Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong
- Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Pickup and visit Kamakhya Devi Temple. Proceed towards Shillong, visiting Umiam Lake and Nehru Park en route. Check in to hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.
- Day 2: Shillong – Amlarem – Dawki
- After breakfast, drive to Amlarem. Visit Krangsuri Falls with optional zip-lining. Boat to Phe Phe Falls. Continue to Dawki. Check in to campsite or homestay. Overnight stay in Dawki.
- Day 3: Dawki – Mawlynnong – Cherrapunjee
- Morning water activities in Dawki River (boating, cliff jumping, snorkeling). Drive to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. Visit the single living root bridge and balancing rock. Optional visit to Garden of Caves. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
- Day 4: Cherrapunjee Sightseeing
- Explore Seven Sisters Falls, Thangkharang Park, Nohkalikai Falls, Arwah Cave, Lyngksiar Falls. Optional visits subject to accessibility. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
- Day 5: Double Decker Root Bridge Trek – Shillong
- Early departure to Tyrna village. Trek down 3,700 steps to witness the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge and Rainbow Falls. Trek back and drive to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.
- Day 6: Shillong to Guwahati
- After breakfast, visit Police Bazaar, Don Bosco Museum, and Cathedral Church. Drive to Guwahati for departure.
